Overview: Revolutionizing Medical Access

Medical Share is a purpose-driven app designed to facilitate the sharing and borrowing of critical medical equipment. The platform connects donors and lenders with patients and hospitals in need, ensuring access to essential items like oxygen cylinders, ventilators, and oximeters. By prioritizing quick delivery, Medical Share has become a vital lifeline for those facing medical emergencies. Currently operational in India and the USA, the app fosters a community-driven approach to healthcare.

Design Phase: Crafting Seamless User Experience

During the design phase, we prioritized user research by conducting interviews with healthcare professionals, donors, and patients to identify the key pain points and needs within the healthcare system. Based on this research, we crafted a simplified user interface that made it easy for all users to list, borrow, and rent medical equipment. We integrated community-building features, such as verified user profiles and ratings, to foster trust and ensure reliability within the platform. Additionally, we implemented real-time priority notifications for high-demand items, enabling quick responses from users and facilitating the efficient distribution of critical equipment.

During the design phase, user research played a crucial role in shaping the direction of Medical Share. We conducted extensive interviews with healthcare professionals, donors, and patients to deeply understand the challenges they faced and the specific needs within the healthcare system.
