Overview

REVELOCITY approached us to develop a web application that would empower businesses to leverage their existing martech tools to accelerate revenue performance and marketing ROI. With a focus on predictive intelligence and prescriptive decisioning, REVELOCITY provides businesses with a proactive solution for identifying growth opportunities and making data-driven decisions. Their Predictive Revenue Optimization tools allow clients to access actionable insights from dashboards tailored to support diverse revenue and customer growth needs, from short-term projects to long-term goals.

Challenges

REVELOCITY’s clients often face limitations in realizing the full potential of CRM platforms, such as Salesforce, due to integration complexities and the high customization needed to meet specific business goals. Additional challenges include:

  • Data Streamlining and Integration: Merging data across systems, such as marketing automation, e-commerce, and analytics, to provide a cohesive view of customer insights.
  • Data Normalization and Usage: Ensuring data consistency and accessibility across dashboards for smooth user experiences.
  • User Adoption: Overcoming the complexities of CRM integration to foster higher adoption rates among teams.

Our Approach: Design Phase

In the design phase, we worked with REVELOCITY to translate their goals into a web application that would integrate seamlessly with existing martech stacks while providing valuable, actionable insights. Key features included:

Predictive Intelligence Dashboards: We designed analytical dashboards powered by AI-driven predictive intelligence, offering users a clear view of revenue and growth opportunities. Each dashboard allows businesses to analyze customer segments such as upsell, cross-sell, new accounts, and retention, with data displayed through intuitive graphs and charts.

Data Export and Visualization Tools: The platform enables users to export insights from different customer categories, making it easy to segment data for targeted campaigns. Visual tools like pie charts, line graphs, and bar graphs allow users to interpret trends and performance at a glance, supporting strategic decision-making.

Prototypes of these features were created in Figma, and after gathering feedback from REVELOCITY, we refined the interface to ensure it provided clear, actionable insights with an intuitive design.

Our Approach: Development Phase

For development, we implemented a cloud-based architecture using React for the frontend to create a responsive, interactive experience. The backend, built with NodeJS and hosted on AWS, enabled real-time data processing and integration with various third-party CRM tools.

Data Normalization and Customization:
We built in a data normalization layer, allowing users to work with data that is consistent across all dashboards. This capability was especially valuable for clients dealing with large datasets from multiple sources.

Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics Engine:
We implemented an AI-powered engine to enable predictive analytics, allowing users to see potential growth scenarios and recommendations for each customer segment. For example, users can forecast retention strategies or identify potential upsell opportunities with prescriptive recommendations provided directly in the interface.

Our team maintained regular check-ins with REVELOCITY, collecting feedback on functionality and adapting features to ensure the application met their high standards for usability and performance.

Our Approach: Deployment Phase

After development, our QA team rigorously tested each feature to ensure seamless functionality. Once final approval was received, we deployed the solution on AWS, providing a secure, scalable environment for REVELOCITY’s client base.

Results

The final solution delivered a robust, AI-powered platform that enabled REVELOCITY’s clients to increase revenue and improve customer retention. Feedback from early users praised the predictive intelligence dashboards and data visualization tools, which provided essential insights into customer behavior.
